The Program

10 weeks. Live. In community.

Breaking Barriers is a structured 10-week cohort. Live online sessions, online modules to reinforce each week's material, mentor meetings, and a final in-person gathering to bring the cohort together.

Program arc

Four phases over ten weeks

Phase 1

Foundation

Weeks 1–3

Building the regulatory and licensing groundwork. Participants get oriented to Minnesota's cannabis framework, the OCM, and what it takes to be application-ready.

Phase 2

Operations

Weeks 4–6

Money, location, and brand. The day-to-day mechanics of running a cannabis business — finance, real estate, marketing — taught by people doing the work.

Phase 3

Growth

Weeks 7–9

Capital, scale, and the human side of the business. From investor readiness to managing people, this phase prepares participants for what comes after launch.

Phase 4

Forward

Week 10

A final in-person session bringing the cohort together to integrate the work and plan next steps.
